In the lines of Tafseer Ibn Katheer of Surah An Noor, The
Light, we get introduced to this beautiful woman Aisha bint Abu Bakr, The
beloved wife of the Best Man ever lived. As I read on, I imagined her- she must
have been one pretty woman. No, I dont mean to comment on her peripheral powder
and paint but the way she dealt with the rumours she was indicted; that’s an
uff.
Abdullah ibn Ubayy, the leader of the Hypocrites, may Allah disfigure him and His curse be upon him, spread news about this Red Haired Lady and Safwan, may Allah subhanawatala preserve them both. It was a clear hearsay spread to create humiliation in the family of Muhammed. She went sick following that journey back to Medinah and was unaware of the hush hush firing in the streets of this blessed land. People were talking, like people always talk, about a woman found in solace with a Non Maharram; not a random woman, an Umm ul Mu’mineen. They were hurting her family, and his family and there was this tension, worry, house of Rasoolullah was stiff with anxiety, may Allah disfigure Abdullah ib n Ubayy!
She cried all night, all day.
"I have spent the entire night until morning unable to stop weeping and could not sleep at all. Morning found me still weeping.", were her words.
We are talking about the third wife of the Prophet, young, yet bold; one who don't fear to shoot questions to Rasoolullah like arrows, who on the shade of her childishness stood by the shoulders of her husband and watched that sport of the Abyssinians and later remarked that she stood there not to watch, but for the warmth of his cheek against hers.
We are talking about this cheery woman about whom her servant remarked as,
"I have not seen nothing wrong with her, other than that she is a young girl and sometimes she falls asleep while she is kneading the dough and a lamb comes along and eats it!".
We are talking about a beautiful soul from whom we got a hundred direct deep and classified ahadeeth- the explaination of which we can't find in other chains of narrations.
We are talking about the daughter of As Siddiq, who without a doubt would have nurtured his qualities of truthfulness and humbleness in this beloved lady.
We are talking about the lady whom Zainab bint Jahsha radhiallahu , who were frequently at odds with her, much for being a co-wife, commented,
"O Messenger of Allah," she said, "I will not repeat anything that I have not heard with my own ears and seen with my own eyes. By Allah, I find nothing in her but goodness."
Revelation
stopped coming. The Messenger of Allah thought that Allah was displeased by
this rumour, he even considered divorcing Aisha radhiallahu anha. He approached
her in the house of Abu Baker radhiallahu anha, and told the lamenting woman,
"If you are innocent, then Allah Himself will protect your honour, and if by accident there has been a lapse on your part, then seek the forgiveness of Allah and He will pardon you, for when a slave admits a fault and turns to Him in repentance, then Allah also turns and accepts that repentance."

................
Now if this was told to a modern wife, you will have to stand five radius mile away and expect cookers, chappal and bottle rolls. Women of our times can’t stand being called ‘not innocent’ , ‘considered less’ n the likes because that is SO faulty. Its World War !!! (three exclamations yeah) if the lecturer is her own husband(Dude! What were you thinking!) Thanks to the burned dal and over cooked potato for the night. Because apparently, according to the modern quotes, women are always right, men accept it and giggle from behind as they know the consequences of saying otherwise. And those who actually say it out loud and go article-ey about it, are all, duh, single.
Aisha got up,
brave, confident. She wiped her tears and was no longer aware of a single tear.
She asked her parents if they could answer Rasoolullah on her behalf, yes, she
was upset with him -,-
When either of them confessed that they don't know what to reply to him sallaallahu alaihi wasallam, Aisha radhiallahu anha said something which I want to write in my heart with ink of faith. I want to hear this over and over and Wallahi, if I could meet her one day from Jannat ul Firdous, I’ll plead to her after giving her salam, to say this again and again, tell her that the promise was kept and she is where she is because of this faith of hers and I’m quoting,

"I am a young girl who does not yet recite
much of the Qur'an. By Allah, I know that you have heard this story that people
are saying and it has become fixed in yourself and you have believed it. If I
were to say to you that I am innocent, you would not believe me. If I were to
confess to something to you and Allah knows that I am innocent you would
believe me. By Allah, I can only say what the father of Yusuf said, Patience is beautiful, and Allah is my
protection against what you describe. (Quran 12:18)"
:’)
Confident.
Young
Precise.
We all are in need of this level of faith when someone pushes you to that gossip corner and make you a victim to vandalize. If you are sure about yourself, your nafs, Oh my beautiful set of Akhawat, that is enough. Rest is Tawakkalthu ‘alallah!
She had hardly finished speaking when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) received a direct revelation of some more ayahs of the Qur'an, and when it was over, he smiled and said,
"Do not worry, 'A'isha, for Allah has revealed proof of your innocence." (Quran 24:11-19).
No, you and I can never reach to this level, but know that these are our targets. This is want we want. You would have been told ‘Why you covering your head man!’ and ‘Five times a day??! When do you live?’ and ‘Gurl, dont temme this is haraam too!’. May be you would have already been in that phase and wants to throw that past nature into the clubs and chant and join Hayyalal Falaah. Perhaps you would have taken a whiff of that stick, taken that disgusting alcohol and involved yourself in Fahisha. May be, you did have a bad past which are not proud of. Dudett, it is okay!Look at this woman, silencing the Best of the Creation with her elegance of faith! She is our model! This is the paradigm of wonder we need and should strive for!
I wonder how proud Rasoolullah would have been of her.
There is always a platform to improve, only when you are pushed in a dig, you come to the realisation that there are multiple ways to climb up. Only in that state of helpnessness would you think of being creative and save yourself from choking up inside. Only in those dire moments when Hady comes do you understand that this is all I have to do, seek. Dua. She sought, and Allah defended her innocence.
I dont know how to put it, but wallaahi, reading this part of Tafseer (from Surah An Noor- Ayah 11) made me to edit my wishlist from this

to this
:)
Assalamu alaikum warahmatullaahi wabarakatuhu.
